- Life or Accident Insurance... Do you understand the difference? Learn about the benefits of each:
Life insurance benefits are paid to the beneficiary only on the event of the policyholder’s death.
AD&D benefits are paid to the beneficiary when the policyholder dies, but only as the result of an accident. However, if the insured were to suffer an accident and their life is saved at the cost of a limb or other important body part – such as an eye – AD&D insurance pays the insured certain benefits for the disabling accident.
If an accident caused you to lose an eye or limb, it would change your life. If you died accidently without life insurance, it could dramatically affect your loved ones’ financial future.
The McLennan Group Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Plan provides lump sum cash benefits, to help you and your family cope.
